We had a lovely stay at the cottage for 1 week in November. The same parking spot right outside the door of the cottage was always there for us. There was COMPLETE silence even though it is in the town centre. Local takeouts are closeby, within walking distance, also groceries, pharmacy ,cafes etc and by walking distance i mean within 5 mins, at a leisurely pace. Lismore is an extremely quiet town. There are pubs but no customers, that we saw. Im assuming summertime is the busy season. The hosts were lovely, dropped us firewood immediately upon request. Its so so cozy and the livingroom/kitchen is filled with light. I ADORED the wood shutters in the bedrooms that blocks out ALL light. The old thick walls of the house give it old world charm. House heats up super fast. Tons of extra blankies, lots of coffee and tea and well stocked cabinets. The back yard is cute as a button. Its not shown in the picturea but there is a little she shed in the back ,tucked in rhe corner. We didnt wven notice it ourselves untill 3 days into our stay!!! My husba d wanta to book again !
