First of all, we never got to stay in this hotel!!! Reason being there was no parking for our rental car. We arrived at the hotel but couldn’t even stop in front to find out where to oark. We drove to a spot where we could phone and inquire about parking. The person on the phone didn’t help us at all and told us she was there until 5pm. ?????
The congested traffic in Sintra and the unavailability of parking and the unavailability of speaking to someone at the hotel to aid us in finding parking , caused us to forfeit our reservation there. We did however find out the person who answered phone was there until 5!!!
We were very disappointed that parking availability was not mentioned on the Expedia website. All in all, totally unsatisfied.

Very convenient, but inside controlled area so cars are not allowed in, depending on Police present. Long walk with lugage. Called beb and breakfast but no breakfast.

We SO loved our stay. Our room had a view of the Castello dos Mouros AND the palacio national. Unbelievable!! The host is exceptionally friendly and helped us figure out our train to Obidos. The room was spacious and very clean. I hope to come back one day!!

Maria who was the host while we were there was fabulous. She made us feel welcome and made us a wonderful breakfast. We will come back.

Rooms were nice and bfs were comfy.
Breakfast (extra cost of 12 euros pp) was good.
Hike up to the moorish castle was great.
Air conditioning did not function which wasn’t terrible issue for us but if it had been any hotter . .
Overall, recommend.

A magic place to stay in a special part of the world. Ideal stay in historical centre within easy walking distance. Such a beautiful building with very warm welcome by receptionist and staff. Didn't want to leave. Shame about condition of wooden flooring in bathroom - spoilt ambience of this gorgeous building. Fantastic hot water and pressure in shower. A very comfortable stay

We booked 2 suites to have enough room for our family of 4 adults and 2 kids, and found it to be perfect for our stay. Great water pressure and water temperature, and there is a family-friendly restaurant right below which we found perfect for a convenient meal after our arrival. They were especially helpful to our family with all of bags (2 kids under 5), and a special shout out to Maria and the team for helping us to recover our stroller, which we accidentally left behind in the chaos of our departure. We look forward to another visit to Sintra again sometime, and crossing paths with this lovely staff again!
