Location was the main reason. Otherwise, the breakfast was OK. Main problem was the long walk to our room. I have a lung/breathing problem, wife has to use a walking stick yet our room was right at the end of the 3rd floor (Room 339).

We stayed here a few years ago and found it very convenient for travelling north and stayed again last week.
The property is kept clean and tidy, the staff were friendly, happy to talk to customers and helpful, the carpet to the dining area was clean which can be difficult to achieve with so many visitors. There was sufficient choice for breakfast, cooked or cold.

Thought the drinks were way over priced thats why bar not very busy

When we checked in the young man on reception was very helpful and pleasant.
