I can’t provide anything but an overall rating because the hotel called me the day before my reservation (for a holiday weekend) to let me know that they were cancelling my reservation because some guests were extending their stays. No matter that I had already paid for my stay. I was told the manager “could comp me a couple nights” for a future visit but have no verification of this. The sister hotel he called to see if they had vacancies was double the price, which I had no choice but to pay due it being last minute on a holiday weekend. I also was told I had to contact Expedia myself for a refund, and when I did, they had not been informed of this development. I was then expected to be grateful that the hotel was refunding my money on a non refundable stay, despite the fact that the hotel is the one that cancelled my reservation. I would say the very least I was owed was a refund.
I have submitted a complaint to the Affordable Suites corporate office, but they have yet to respond almost a week later. There is no phone number to call either.
Stay far, far away from this hotel!!!

The motel was very nice and clean. The room was clean and everything was well kept. I loved the towels, they were big and soft. It is a little out in the country, about 2 or 3 miles from the village of Lexington. The kitchen was handy but I never really cooked in it. On my next trip to NC I will be happy to stay there again.

Better hotel than what the price is. Used it as a base to explore that area of the state, no complaints and staff were fantastic.

Has all the essentials. Allows pets. It is by the interstate. But was nice

Too much went wrong. Had to be relocated to a smaller unit due to other guest with barking dogs...not sure why the offending guests weren't moved instead. Came back to room the next night, key no longer worked, couldn't get anyone on the phone at managers office, had to leave message Expedia no help, no answer when I called. Bed mattress not comfortable. Toiletries were not available in first assigned unit. All in all, disappointed.
