Wow, What an amazing experience staying at This hotel Torre Melina. Everything was spectacular concierge, Reception, Dining options, And the shuttle to downtown The breakfast buffet was one of the best of experience in a very long time, Lots of options to choose from my niece is vegetarian, and she was very satisfied The rooms are amazing. The showers and the bed made it impossible for you to want to even leave your room. I was very surprised at how great the hotel was because some reviews stated otherwise I was here for a conference with my wife and niece and everyone of us afterwards regretted leaving as our stay was very satisfying I totally recommend staying at this hotel and I can’t wait to visit again Fidel

Unfortunately this is a hotel that is not yet up to the game. I arrived to the top line of the hotel, a Red Level room with two rooms. We were greeted in an excellent manner by Alejandro, the highlight of the hotel. The room was also very nice and well fitted. Nonetheless, there are several salient black spots in the operation: as other reviewers have mentioned, when you call all the lines for service request almost never do they answer (they have a special Red Level line which also they repeatedly did not answer). They offer 24 hour room service, but I had to wait one hour to finally get a response and when they deliver the food, the family lost a tour booked months in advance (no restaurant were opened at that time also and the tour was for 9 hours and we needed to eat). There were missing items in two room service orders. Also, on Saturday, after my kids were in the pool, when they came back there was no heat water. We called the reception and they confirmed there was a tecnical problem and had called a company for repairs (this seemed to be a recurring problem as another reviewer mentioned another time when this happened). Breakfast was included but they will charge fully if ordered by room service (other hotels charge a delivery fee but not all the items as if they were not included). We had ordered special transportation twice: one work but they other never showed up and there was no explanation. There is currently no spa and only a temporary gym with some machines.

We had to have a one on one conversation with every maintenance person about how the client, the person who is paying for the room for many nights, should be the one who gets to put the air conditioning to the most comfortable temperature. This didn’t happen fo the first 3 nights! It was a one on one with the maintenance person and the night shift supervisor. For three consecutive nights! An absolute nightmare! We have been sick with cold and flu symptoms since we left that hotel. One of the male check in people actually told me he was sick with the same symptoms I had. He had taken our luggage to the room. T A horrible experience in a very beautiful hotel!
