Great value for the area. Gustavo at the front desk is a star. Super helpful and courteous. We had two different rooms during our stay. The first didn’t have a/c but we were provided 3 fans which was fine. The second was a very large room with a/c overlooking the front courtyard. Oddly the window was not overly tinted so we had to have the drapes pulled the whole time. Breakfast service was good and the one meal we had in the evening was great. The back courtyard led directly to the beach which was a great bonus. The colour of the pool water was a little off putting and the shower lacked water pressure. Neither of these things were deal breakers. Overall a great stay. Would recommend

Thank you so much for.staying with us!It is a pity you did not mention the water pressure being here because we have a pump for that but we don't use it all the time.And as far as the color of the pool water is concerned , it was due to a weird reaction due to too much chlorine, we solved it

The staff and owners were very helpful and pleasant. The owner even went so far as to cook some food for my little service dog. I highly recommend the hotel.

Mixed feelings

The local guy that checked me in was very pleasant and responsive to my needs. He was able to change me into another room because the AC that I had to pay an extra $10 per night didn't work. He referred me to a great restaurant (Bertha) that served delicious local food. I didn't appreciate receiving a message after I booked the room with fine prints that should be on the listing for tbe hotel so I and everyone else can make a decision about whether or not to select that hotel based on those conditions. The room have AC, but it is an extra charge of $10 per night to get the remote to use the AC. You are not allowed to bring your own food and beverages to the hotel. Wi-fi was very limited. Ordering dinner at the hotel ended at 6 pm. I ordered dinner the first night, it was delicious (the food is not made at the hotel, it is made at a restaurant and delivered to the hotel). I was told by the guy working the day shift that the food arrived. I was in the shower when he told me that. I told him I would be out when I was finish. Maybe 30 minutes later, the guy working at night come and knocks on my door to tell me my food is there. I am not sure why he did that when I already communicated to the first person that I would come when I was ready, and the guy on day shift was still at the hotel and remained at the hotel for at least another hour and a half after that second guy knocked on my door. The whole thing was really annoying & creepy. Also, there no hot water.

Great stay at El Belga Loco. Very comfortable place with great amenities available. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
