Enjoyed my stay at the Whitehorse hotel. The staff were really helpful and friendly. It would’ve been nice to have a mirror in my room, otherwise the room was satisfactory.
I do think it would be good if the price of a breakfast was included in the overall price rather than having to pay separately.I also think that overall it is a little bit on the expensive side, but I understand they have to make a living!

There is quite simply nothing not to like about this property. We had a wonderful weekend here. The room was spacious, and spotlessly clean, and the bed super comfy. The breakfast was a real stand-out. Staff were also very friendly and helpful. It was our first visit to the area - don't know why we left it so long!

This is a lovely big building down stairs bar and restaurant areas are nicely decorated but the rooms need some TLC

Our twin room was small but clean and well arranged, although a chair would have been useful. We were served a generously portioned Sunday roast, well cooked, a great meal.

Over priced and dated
Posted 8 Sep 2020 on HotelsService and breakfast was great. Room was poor. In places the walls had been repaired but not painted. There was a hole behind the door which had not been repaired. The bathroom smelt and the bath was marked. Having paid £120 for the room, we felt we had been massively over charged. We understand the rooms are being refurbished which is needed and would perhaps reflect the rate we paid.

Just about OK
Posted 30 Aug 2020 on HotelsA fairly average pub with rooms as opposed to a hotel. It’s on a busy road so if you are a light sleeper then it probably isn’t for you.
The food (both dinner and breakfast) were good although the level of cleanliness was poor.
The room we had was pretty tired and in need of some updating. Temperature in the room was good and the shower was just about passable.
So for the money it was just about OK.
