Restaurant wasn’t open much for repairs but overall stay is always good. Evening front desk staff was fantastic.

This hotel can use some investment.
1. The rooms are outdated and carpets worn and stained.
2. Water temp in showers are inconsistent
3. Tiles and sink/ faucet are old and worn and worn
4. TV is old and images are hard to see. Paper cups that leak for in room coffee and bathroom use. Cheapest toilet paper you can buy.
5. Other guests at time of our stay were noisy and loud all night long. Police were called during our stay to what was assumed a domestic dispute. Kids crying. The noise by other guests was the worst I have ever encountered in many years. People talking and drinking and families fighting was very disturbing.
6. Hotel has a great water slide for families
7. Hotel has a decent restaurant with a good chef. Prices are fair and food is good.
8. Location has shopping nearby and lots of fast food locations
9. Daily room service was good.
In summary, management needs to invest in this hotel, update the rugs and bathrooms and invest in some hotel security to shut down the guests who are ruining the experience for everyone else.

We found our stay quite convenient as it was the location for the 100th birthday celebration for a family member. The pool and waterslide facilities were enjoyed by us and we would certainly stay again in the future. Thank you. Debbie and Domenic Scorziello...Guelph Ontario

Im very familiar with this area. Everything you need is in close distance. Because the building is older you have the typical noise issues. Walking above you, neighbors coming and going. The washroom needs an upgrade but functions fine. We had 2 queen beds and I was lucky enough to choose the one that sounded like it had a solo drinking cup crunching in the corner anytime I moved. Lol the matress was firm and the pillows soft!

The carpets in the hallways and our room smell old and with disinfectant. The shower rod fell off the wall while we were using it. Sink is chipped and rusty. Bathroom door had been kicked in at some point so the lock set was falling out of it.
Bathroom floors were ok but filthy where the met the tub.
