Would recommend a visit here, & the restaurant!
Posted 18 Jun 2023 on HotelsA lovely little boutique hotel right by the canal. It has a very individual and personal feel. The rooms and large and comfortable, and it was great to have a fridge in the room and complementary water. We ate in the restaurant one night, on the covered deck overlooking the canal, which was beautiful. The food was excellent, it is a very interesting Asian/sushi fusion menu, with a wide choice with imaginative and unusual small dishes. It was so tasty and excellent quality

Posted 10 Nov 2021 on HotelsThis is a very nice small hotel in the centre of Leerdam. I have stayed there several times before on business trips as I find everything about it is just perfect. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, the beds are large and comfortable and the breakfast is delicious.

Hotel Het Oude Posthuys - Leerdam
Posted 10 Nov 2021 on HotelsI spent a total of 3 x nights at the Hotel Het Oude Posthuys in Leerdam. It`s clean, friendly and with a very good Thai restaurant below. The hotel is ideally located very close to the centre of Leerdam with a short walk and there you will have more choices of bars and restaurants.
Parking is an issue but not insurmountable because there is paid parking on Meent street (free parking from 18:00 to 08:00 hours), but there is also absolutely free parking a short walk away on "Voorwaartsveld" street and next to the train station on "Stationsweg". A good hotel and a place I always use when staying in Leerdam, NL.

A Great Stay at the Oude Posthuys in Leerdam, NL
Posted 2 Mar 2020 on HotelsMy experience at the Oude Posthuys was excellent. Located in the centre of Leerdam, this hotel/guesthouse was clean, comfortable, homely and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The restaurant and cuisine were also excellent and the room had free wi-fi, coffee-tea making facilities and more importantly a very comfortable bed. The only small downside was that there are no private parking facilities and you have to park on the street nearby which is chargeable by meter at EUR1.5 per max 2 hours stay from 9am to 6pm. There is free parking at the train station nearby however, I preferred my car to be within sight of the hotel. But don`t let this put you off as I highly recommend you staying at the Posthuys which I`m sure you will find extremely enjoyable.

Loved the hotel and the town
Posted 8 Aug 2019 on HotelsWe travel quite a bit, but this stop was a very nice experience. Room was great and the food was very good. It was difficult to drive to the address because of the bicycle only streets, but once we got there it was well worth the inconvenience.
