The property had beautiful grounds. It was wonderful to stroll through the gardens and listen to the local birds. The restaurant and the spa were great. I can’t wait to go back.

A lovely hotel, with good facilities, friendly and helpful staff, with a very good restaurant but also a good selection of restaurants outside the hotel within walking distance

Booked this for a one night relaxation stay but sadly it was like being at Butlins but paying a lot more!!! Pool, sauna and steam room rammed full of large groups of females. So full, staff stopped people going in as we were coming out. Changing rooms weren’t very clean either. We ordered room service to avoid the packed out bar and the food was like a microwave meal.

This is a beautiful historical building. Excellent friendly staff. The only issue is that a luxury Spa Hotel is expected to offer some simple slippers or even a bath robe to guests?!

Stayed at the hotel many times, Rooms on the higher floors are somewhat dated but only seem to be used at peak times.
