Nice hotel had stayed previously when it was Jurys Inn. Staff were excellent front desk staff arranged taxi for departure efficiently and helpfully. Nice hotel

Power went off in the room in the middle of the night. Clearly something that’s a common issue as the lady on reception knew straight away what to go and try and get it back on (this caused my phone and laptop not to charge through the night though which was an inconvenience ) socket next to bed have a little warning sign on saying phones only and the staff suggested/hinted that I could have plugged something else in there which wasn’t true.
I’m an electrician and don’t really understand why the rooms would be wired in a way that a single fault kills the power to the room lights, bathroom lights, as well as all sockets.
Bathroom was also fairly grubby and had sharp metal bits above the bath where it looked like handrails had been removed/ripped off the wall.
Breakfast was nice.
In a good location next to the river and only a short walk into the centre of Leeds.
