I stayed the week at this property, it was mostly clean, a few little things that could’ve been a little cleaner but on the whole good value for money. The main concern for me was on arrival and if not for a resident leaving the property and giving me contact details for the landlord, I would have been pretty much stuffed as Expedia was about as much use as a chocolate teapot to be frank.

What a Sh*t hole

DO NOT STAY HERE! I cannot express enough how awful this crack den is. Firstly the un safe illegality of it. No fire doors! Rule 101 for safety. How hotels.com allowed this onto their site, is almost as alarming as the quality of this "accommodation". The smoke detector was wrapped in a sock and taped so the last guest could smoke freely, but maybe the was to disguise the smell of damp? The room was small, cramped and dirty. The plates and cooking pans all had dust and cobwebs on them. The bathroom is a joke, filthy. There was no safe parking, just in street parking. The walls and doors were so thin you could hear what people are doing (or selling) through out the night. I stayed one night of my 6 booked, had to get a new hotel due to the poor quality of the establishment. Bloody good fridge though, ice cold drinks. Don't stay here. Its truly terrible.

Not good - didn't feel safe staying

The property is located in normal street on a housing estate, the area does not feel very safe. There is what appears to be a hostel next door there were a group of rough looking people sitting in our the front of their property drinking and making noise. The steps up to the property had people's washing laid out. The rooms are very small and the finish is not to a great standard. Beware the property owner has a very Ridgid refund policy and does not give refunds under and circumstances.

It was terrible, we couldn’t even stay there a single night. Reeked of smoke , was grubby and all fixtures and fittings were a disgrace

We booked this place for a whole week but when we reached the property, the place was a mere resemblance of what the pictures show. The wardrobe area was filled with some random things. Carpet was so unclean that you could not take a step with bare feet, even stepped on a nail. Bed was bent and had some inverted dustbin stuck on one side. There were clear patches of mold on both sides of the headrest and the only light in the room was held up by tapes, as if it will fall off at any moment. And to top it all the shower drain clogged up, so one can't even take a decent shower. We spent one entire day of our trip struggling to get out of the situation and finally someone(not the proprietor) showed up around 4:15 PM after being on call since the morning to validate all the things we mentioned on multiple calls to both Expedia Customer Service and the property management. The inspection clearly proved the state of the property and we checked out demanding a full refund. The only good thing is that we did get our money back but the sad thing is the experience and misleading listing on vetted websites. There should be more strict and regular checking of listings to avoid situations like these.
