I was not told this was a Catholic retreat. Very spartan and no restaurant. Pretty isolated from the town. We left and cannot offer a review per se.

Beautiful place! Clean room, bathroom a little dated but all in working order. Basic but I don't need luxury, it was great value! Staff made a mistake when charging but immediately put it right. Breakfast was amazing and in the loveliest dining room. I love that this place is a pastoral centre. The chapel is lovely.

We needed an inexpensive one night stay and Hinsley Hall was perfect. Beautiful building away from the road so pretty quiet. As it’s designed to be a conference venue, our twin room was nothing fancy but clean with very comfortable beds, which is all we needed. There was a very good selection of teas, hot drinks and a water machine in the lounge downstairs, plus an excellent help yourself breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again should the need arise.

Extremely relaxing, helpful staff. Even though they don't serve an evening meal unless you're at a conference, had knowledge of local restaurants and even offered plates etc if we wanted a takeaway

The rooms are basic. Bed was comfortable. The buffet breakfast was good and had a wide choice of food.
