My husband and I found this Inn on the last night of our vacation celebrating our 55 wedding anniversary. From the moment we entered Sam made us feel special by offering to change the complimentary bottle of wine to a bottle of prosecco then showed us the home made baked goods He gave us a tour of the inn which was spotless as well as the outside looking over Lake Laurel. Our suite had a bedroom, a sitting room with a sofa and a huge bathroom Our breakfast in the morning consisted of pancakes, frittatas, fruit cup and many other choices. It was one of the best we ever ate. We would definitely recommend booking a room here.

They greeted us as soon as we checked in with apple cider and brownies. The room was super cute. Breakfast was delicious. The only negative was it could be noisy when people are walking in hallway. We will definitely stay again.

Brooke, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Thank you for the kind the feed back about the noise in the hallway. We are in a historical building that does not have the soundproofing of modern day construction. To counter that, we have quiet hours between 9 pm and 8am, and 99.5% of our guests are very respectful of that. Just like any hotel, we do occasionally have guests who are a more noisy than others. We will redouble our efforts to remind guests of our quiet hours. Thank you again, and we look forward to seeing you again.

The Lakehouse Inn is really cute, right on a lake with wonderful waterfront spaces. The bathroom situation is more European--toilet and shower in the bathroom, sink outside. There was no tub, not a problem for me but good to be aware of. The morning breakfast was delicious! I was greeted with a white wine sangria. It's conveniently located for roaming around Stockbridge, Great Barrington, etc. Close to the Norman Rockwell museum, Hancock Shaker Village, Edith Wharton estate. Would absolutely stay again.
