Convenient location, walkable to the main village, excellent staff. However , the WiFi strength in room was very weak.

Der Riterhof Inn was easy to find driving in to Leavenworth…just look for the friendly giant knight standing guard out front! The staff are exceptionally friendly, the rooms are very clean and it just feels cozy. Wonderful breakfast included. What more can I say? Oh, yes, the TV is only tuned to news which is not conducive to a relaxing visit…just saying!

If you find yourself with no other options than to stay here, I would recommend inspecting and photographing the room upon arrival. Otherwise they will try to tell you that your family pulled the stuffing out of a blanket and charge you $110 in damages. Perhaps it will be something else they’d like to replace that day on someone else’s dime. Also, the water coming out of the sink was yellow and there is no security lock from the inside. Do yourself a favor and stay literally anywhere else.

Good morning, thank you for choosing to stay with us. We are sorry that we failed to meet your expectations. Unfortunately, when housekeeping went in to strip the room, we did find the blanket that is put on the bed torn with the stuffing pulled out. We do a full inspection of all linen before placing it in the room so that we are certain there is no damage before the guest arrives. When we called to notify you of the ruined blanket and the charge for the replacement, we did overhear you tell your partner ‘oh yeah, but I didn’t think it was a big deal’. However, this does mean that the blanket will be thrown out as it is no longer usable. Meaning we will have to purchase a new blanket for our linen inventory. At no point in time did you state you had a problem with your room or that the water was not clean until after you were told that we were charging you for the ruined item. We are unsure if the water was indeed unclean/yellow as housekeeping did note that you did use the shower before leaving. We will nonetheless look into the plumbing and make sure that there are no problems. Nevertheless, we hope you find your ideal location on your next visit to Leavenworth. The location was great! Close and walking distance to everything. The walls are very thin and you could hear the other room's conversations and the bathroom could be updated. However the room was comfortable and clean and the staff was nice. I would stay here again.

The property is located in a nice location for walkable access to town. I’d say the size and condition of the room was average and overall was overpriced.
