Classic Briton small hotel

Posted 22 Aug 2021 on Hotels
Interesting location, within walking distance from the sea. The room was a bit outdated. We even noticed some black spots on the ceiling. But otherwise the hallway looked new and clean. This seems like a family run business and the staff is very friendly. There is a restaurant on site that offers local cuisine.

Seaside location for oysters

Posted 4 Oct 2017 on Hotels
The hotel is located directly on the beach/coastal area in Vivier Sur Mer, just steps away from oyster's breeding places and Mont St Michel. The internal restaurant offers very good food, especially seafood and shellfish. Rooms are somehow small and toilette very tiny, but overall at a good level for a 2-star hotel. Possible to park in the internal parking or very close by.

Cozy little inn on the coast

Cozy little inn on the coast. If you order mussels in the restaurant, they give you a whole pot of them!

Warm country hotel

A warm country hotel.................very accommodating for anyone exploring the Mont St-Michel / Cancale /St-Malo area. The innkeeper did not speak English, but went out of his way to make sure I understood. I didn't see anything else in the immediate area.

Unmodernised traditional French Logi

Posted 25 May 2017 on Hotels
A great place to stay with an excellent restaurant. You will need to book in advance to get a table. All tables were taken by 19:45 and there is a lot of demand from locals. The 24 euro menu was beautifully cooked and served. Desserts were especially good. The hotel is a bit quirky, with meandering corridors and the room layout is also idiosycratic, but it's comfortable and works well. The hotel is on the GR34, so there is the opportunity for a pleasant stroll along the level coast.

We stayed here for 2 nights when visiting MSM. A very nice hotel in a quite village. You definitely need a car to get here. About 20 mins from MSM. We had a big room for us. Breakfast was standard. The staff are very friendly and very helpful.
