Our 2nd visit didn't disappoint. We stayed in a lovely room above the restaurant which was spacious, well appointed and with a large window with Juliet balcony. The room had 2 easy chairs to sit by the open window and look over the garden and river. Breakfast is extensive in a lovely room overlooking the river. The setting is the best we have ever experienced and chairs are provided for you to sit on the side of the river. Food is exceptional and as in previous reviews, the vegetarian offering is the best we have ever had. We cannot wait to return again.

This hotel was absolutely perfect. The location and surroundings are stunning and the rooms have been organised with great thought. Breakfast as others have mentioned is a great start to the day with freshly made pastries and bread and home made jams. Sitting out on the terrace was lovely and 2 nights was not enough. The addition of roaming ducks, chickens and cats made our stay a memorable one and we can’t wait to return.

When I arrived in Lavoute, I could not find this "hotel" using the GPS system. It's just off the Place de l'eglise. When I found the hotel, it looked like an abandon house, but the neighbor confirmed that it was the Hotel les Delices. When I entered it was an unbelievably beautiful house. It was a former mill built right on the Loire River. The living room and bedroom were incredible. The bedroom was large, quiet and full of beautiful antiques. The house only has 3 guest bedrooms. The hostesses were extremely nice and we sat by the fire after dinner talking about French food. My only regret is that I did not stay longer (only 1 night). The breakfast was delicious overlooking the Loire River. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast and would I would definitely stay longer next time.

A tranquil piece of peace by the Loire

The accommodation was very spacious, extremely clean and beautifully furnished. Many of the furnishings will revive your memories. The food was all local and wonderfully prepared. Our rooms overlooked the Loire, the bridge, the countryside. There were swans, ducks and geese. A place of peace and tranquillity. Our thanks to our hosts who were always available. Highly recommended.

Our hostesses made our stay most enjoyable and the food is scrumptious. It is a quiet and beautiful setting with very comfortable rooms. Couldn't be better.

Struttura super consigliata: vaut le voyage.

Gestita da due signore molto professionali e gentili. Peccato non aver potuto prolungare il soggiorno. Cena e colazione ottime. Base per visitare Le Puy en Valey.
