The Heritage Hotel Manila

The Heritage Hotel Manila

8/10 Good
"The desk clerk was nice, the washroom is old and outdated, i will not recommend this hotel if you are outside of the country because once your flight was cancelled or the airline revised your flight, this hotel will not give you consideration. You will lose your money. I wasted my time explaining to the customer representative, they even asked me to provide a proof and so I thought they will consider to change the date of my booking but hell no. Wasting time. I did not asked for refund, I only wanted to change the date because the airline revised my flight but hell no! they did not consider at all."

The Peninsula Manila

The Peninsula Manila

10/10 Excellent
"Magnificent hotel, made even better by the most incredible customer service one could ask for. At every level and every part of the hotel, the staff and service are immaculate. The rooms are a little dated for this level of hotel and could use some updating or at least some color/character or local vibe which one would expect from a hotel of this kind. The hotel is beautiful and full of old world class and elegance. The lobby is a work of art and the restaurants, pool, gym and all other facilities are top notch. The breakfast is plentiful and probably the best I've experienced on my many stays in Manila. My only advice would be to get there early because it gets crowded pretty fast, especially on weekends. The only negative was that one out of three elevators was out of use for my entire extended stay and it was quite inconvenient. There is no sign alerting guests to this and no one at the reception or concierge informs guests of this inconvenience at check-in or any point of my stay regarding how long it would take, which is something I would expect from a 5 stay hotel like this. When the hotel is full it caused delays and very crowded elevators."
