Please be aware that the staff will tell you, you do not need to pay for late checkout but will later charge your credit card and extra 270 NOK for one hour later check. This motel is NOT accommodating at all. If you are taking the evening ferry from Hirtshals to Larvik do not stay here, they will NOT accommodate you well. It’s also very expensive to park here. Do NOT recommend this place!!!!!

Hi SheilaWe did not charge extra for the hour you checked out late. The amount deducted from your card is from the One Park car park behind the hotel. We kept our promise that you would get a late check-out at no extra cost. The hotel does not own the car park, and therefore we do not have free parking.Sincerely, Grand Hotel

Five Star Review for a pleasant stay.

Great hotel located across from train station. Staff were super helpful. Rooms a bit small but come to expect this in Norway.
