Automatic lighting not great for old people.

To clarify a few points on your stay: We do understand the difficulty on how to operate our automated lighting system found in the new annex rooms, that is the reason that all the reception team members, upon check-in, try to explain its operation and offer to the guests a tablet with instructions on how to help. Let us reassure you, that this automation in lighting along with many more ways we have already implemented in our hotel, is an ongoing process that we are proud to be a member of in becoming a more sustainable and eco-friendly hotel for us and all of our guests. We, also, like to inform you that all of our rooms are designed, furnished and illuminated according to the standards set by local authorities. We are normally praised for our courteous service and friendly approach and willingness to help in any way we can. We take pride in providing a professional service and would like to ensure this is reflected in all interactions with our guest. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was divine. The chef was so lovely and took great pride in serving her amazing dishes!! Would definitely stay again.

Staff is very friendly. The property itself has some drawbacks - thin walls guarantee that a single noisy guest will prevent you from sleeping. Not enough lights in the room (so it is too dark). No parking. Location is good enough and again - very friendly staff

Loved our stay...

The location is amazing, walking distance to all the restaurants and local shops. The room is very spacious and love the decor.

Old rooms need a refurbishment...-

Excellent location wise although I wasn't so impressed with the room. We were in the old part of the hotel which unfortunately dark and and had a dingy feel. The bathroom light had a sensor which came on flooding the whole room which kept waking my husband up. perhaps not wise having glass walls? No head board on the bed, not enough plug sockets and no where to do hair and makeup. I would suggest asking for a room in the new part of the hotel which were wonderful with a lovely garden view! Lovely staff though.

We would like, however, to inform you that due to the special character of our hotel, as a listed mansion -as you already know we are located in the old historic center of Larnaca- we needed to follow strictly guidelines set and approved by local authorities, in order to maintain the special character of the old-listed manor. The decoration, room facilities including the bathrooms on the old-listed manor are under specific guidelines, that were approved by the Department of Town Planning and Housing. We always strive to exceed our guests’ expectations and value all feedback.
