An absolutely MUST. Hotel grounds, service, food, etc the whole stay is an unforgettable luxury experience

Amazingly luxurious (at a price). Be careful of occupying a room over the outdoor restaurant as it can have some noisy guests dining as late as 11.30p.m. Not ideal if you want any early night. Otherwise the staff and accommodation are hard to beat for luxury and attentiveness. The Spa facilities are very good and the walking around the hotel grounds beautiful , but quite remote for short explorations.

booked a room with mountain view, 2 windows, 1 window had another roof direct infront of it, they moved us. it is hard to fault them, very good, also expensive

The Six Senses Douro Valley never fails, it’s great on so many levels and fantastic to see that they continue to invest in the resort
