I would try the Kiwi again maybe the middle or end of summer. It was just the start of opening season, being the long weekend and staff although polite and cheery were new & in training. The new kiwi inspired menu was very delicious. Their kiwi salsa is a must try! As well has their drinks. The pull out couch underneath had dust, food and bounce sheets. There was only one pillow in the hutch for a double pullout bed for two kids to sleep. There was a fitted sheet and a light matching sheet to cover up with. But no blanket or comforter. The pool was open to the public on our first day. Not just guests. The people off the street utilized the best seating areas since it started prior to check in times. Very busy with kids in and out of the beach sand from the volleyball pits and then into the hot tub & pool water to rinse off. A quick foot rinse station could alleviate the added mess. Pool reopened for 8am the following morning, but was not cleaned up to par. Had bugs and hair floating in it. Ph must have been off as there was white froth floating on surface as well. Also need to walk to the front restaurant/bar to get pool towels as opposed to having them conveniently located at the pool area. The back oasis looks beautiful, just a tad wet. The grass swished & got wet shoes on the way to play at the back. All in all it’s a beautiful place to stay, and I’m sure in time all the kinks will be worked out.

The room was absolutely amazing. Big tv, comfy bed, nice fridge snd coffee machine. However, this isn’t a place for the off season. I was hoping to mingle at the bar but I was there on a training day and it felt awkard. I brought my bathing suit to use the hot tub, but I was confused if I was allowed to use it. I was told there was going to be a fire, but didn’t see one. This place is t worth the 350 dollars during the off season. But I can see it being a cool spot in the summer.

The motel is very nice. It’s an old motel that has been renovated. The room is compact, but was comfortable the updates are very nice. I would recommend it and would stay again.

The Kiwi Motel is super cute! Would be great in the summer ( we went in February) as an option. We were excited to use the hot tub, but it was like warm, the jets weren’t really working and the water was cloudy. Our room was very nice and cozy. LOVED the fireplace. Only complaint about the room was the bed was very creaky, so as you turn over at night it makes a lot of noise and that there was no microwave. Overall I joyed our night at the Kiwi. I’d be curious to see what it’s like during the summer!

Couldn't even check in, called all the numbers that were provided one was disconnected, one didn't even exist and the others went straight to voicemail. Arrived at 6:30pm open sign was on, said there lobby was open and staffed until 8pm. Absolutely poor waste of money, had to go elsewhere to spend the night.

My goodness Edwin I am so sorry. The emergency number goes to my cell which I have on me 24/7, it never rang nor did any voice mails come in as I check all night. The power was out all day in Grand Bend not sure if this affected the main phone, We are staffed until 5 pm but always available even went in to start fire for guest last night so so sorry this happened. I would love to make it up to you. I also ALWAYS recommend calling the hotel when booking through a Third party. Lets see how we can make you have a wonderful time next time. So sorry

Everything was perfect as usual! The staff members are always so friendly and accommodating. There were many restaurant options even during the winter. Will definitely be back!
