A comfortable hotel at beautiful Lake Tekapo. Great location and next to the town centre. The hotels is a bit dated and can do with a make over. Room was small.

Really lovely htl right next to the Village plus views of the Lake Tekapo. The prepaid brekkie was very gd. U get to order ANig Breakfast or any other stuff plus a nice cuppa.

We booked the standard room for just one night, wasn’t expecting too much since this room was a lot cheaper than most other places in Tekapo, but was very suprised the room was so so nice and had a great view of the lake and surrounding mountains. Would definitely stay here again :)

The Godley is aging but cheerful. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed plus THAT view. It was an easy walk to bars and restaurants and shopping in the village.

Overall great experience, common area and food was excellent. Room is what you would expect for the money. Good for a one night stay.

Ideal accomm right in the centre of Tekapo with easy walking to the lake.

The room was clean and ok, however we were placed in an accessible room with a huge wheelchair accessible bathroom. This seriously cut down on the room left for the bedroom. Also the shower curtain finished about a foot above the ground so when someone used the shower there was water everywhere and you had to use a towel to mop up.
Also just a wall basin which meant there was nowhere to put any of your toiletries except on the (wet) floor. The room lacked functionality in this way. Maybe a standard room would have been better though.
