RODEWAY is only good if you need a place to sleep... nothing good to say about anything else regarding the hotel.

Reception service is terrible. Took us 25 minutes to just get our room key. On the plus side, we had a quite room and rested well.

Room was cozy and comfortable and the downtown is close by. Lots of trailhead within 15 minutes, it suits hikers The bathroom had a house centipede, not a big deal, but looked weird in a otherwise clean bathroom

The walls on the second floor are very thin and you can hear pretty much everything if the neighbor has the TV or or speak loudly. I stayed there two years ago on the main floor and haven't noticed that. The pool is nice to have. The morning breakfast is very basic (no fruits, no eggs or other kind of proteins). It's mostly coffee, orange juice, cereals, English muffin (no eggs - just the bread). Overall, the place is fine for a weekend.

What was unique was that you failed to even contact the hotel. We lost over four hours with you getting a replacement for the reservation that you bungled and had to give up on ever seeing Lake Placid at all. Travel through the hills to a site with nothing to recommend in the way of tourism was uncertain and stressful. We have used your service on a number of occasions and are extremely disappointed and will think twice when the next opportunity arises
