The walls on the second floor are very thin and you can hear pretty much everything if the neighbor has the TV or or speak loudly. I stayed there two years ago on the main floor and haven't noticed that. The pool is nice to have. The morning breakfast is very basic (no fruits, no eggs or other kind of proteins). It's mostly coffee, orange juice, cereals, English muffin (no eggs - just the bread). Overall, the place is fine for a weekend.

What was unique was that you failed to even contact the hotel. We lost over four hours with you getting a replacement for the reservation that you bungled and had to give up on ever seeing Lake Placid at all. Travel through the hills to a site with nothing to recommend in the way of tourism was uncertain and stressful. We have used your service on a number of occasions and are extremely disappointed and will think twice when the next opportunity arises

Lots of issues with check-in and room keys. Overall, you get what you pay for... The staff were trying. The pool and hot tub were nice. The sheets/bed were clean, but bathroom could have been cleaner. The breakfast was sub-par. If I had to choose between staying here again or paying $100 more per night somewhere else... I'd stay here again :)

This property Rodeway Inn did not have a clean room for me (after sending me to a very dirty room with the door open). They just said we don’t have staff to clean their room. They did not offer me another one. I had to sleep in my car. Expedia also said they followed up but sorry the property won’t refund my fees because it was an unrefundable booking. So both the Rodeway Inn and Expedia have in effect cheated me. I hate to pursue other means to ensure they pay, but what a terrible property and staff. Don’t stay here. By the way, there were other people in the same situation. It may be a general scam that this Inn is operating where they are pocketing money but not providing the service paid for.
