For what this is- a hostel - it’s nice. A few things would have helped us as travelers so I do want to point out a few things.
It’s cold in the winter in the rooms. They have a space heater but it’s still cold. There are no drawers. I highly suggest - if you need drawers (like we do) there are none.
We also needed to plunge the toilet. So if you don’t know how to do that be aware!
There are also no windows. I thought there were some behind the curtains but- it’s boards. I wish I had known these things. It was very clean.

The house was clean and the instructions were good to get in and for the room. The mattress needs to be replaced in the Galorie room and there was a loud clanking noise outside the window with the wind blowing.

Posted 22 Oct 2023 on HotelsGreat place to relax and enjoy yourself. Good music, (Saturday night). Our room was the Balcony. Very nice and yes, with a balcony. The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. The common areas downstairs are really enjoyable and have a warm ambience.
Downtown is literally across the street.
And really just across the street is Bordens ice cream. Banana splits, sundaes and more just like they were 45 years ago.
We will return.
