"Great property in an outstanding location near an entrance to the Matera Sassi. Clean rooms and comfortable beds were nice to stay in. In addition to the Sassi access and hotel cleanliness, the breakfast was truly outstanding. It featured a variety of coffees, pastries and fruits along with other breakfast items in an attractive, large dining room. The desk is attended at all times and the building is secured at night. My only mild criticism is better information on parking prior to check in would be a plus. A secured garage is under the hotel and available for $20 Euro per might. I'd stay there again, both for the hotel and the ancient attractions of Matera."

Communication from Alessandro was excellent, helping us arrange parking (which was very reasonably priced in a secure lot a short walk from the property) and even letting us check in early as our room was ready. Couldn't have asked for a better location, on the edge of the Sassi with plenty nearby. Breakfast was in a cafe next door, more than adequate and perfectly fresh. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend, I wish we had longer."

"Beautiful location and a beautiful room. We stayed in a cave room and it was so nice! The bed was very comfy The hotel team reached out in advance and on the day of arrival to ensure we knew where to park and to arrange our transfer from the car park (15e return). The staff were all very friendly! Breakfast was great with a great view from the terrace Dinner at Regia Corte was a little underwhelming for the price but the pizza place was great! We enjoyed exploring the city everything in the old town/cava are is walkable from the hotel just lots of steep steps"
