Check spa availability
Posted 9 Aug 2020 on HotelsYou should definitely check spa availability before booking. I booked my room and then found out their spa seevices were booked up for the entire weekend. In my opinion, that's the biggest reason to stay here. Otherwise, the hotel was nice for the money.

fantastic one-night stop
Posted 16 Mar 2020 on HotelsThe hotel is in a beautiful location, quiet and relaxing. There is a fantastic open-air spa with a view of the mountains, and many walking trails nearby. The room was comfortable and in great condition, with ample closet space, good view, nice bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of parking. Lots of menu options at the restaurant, and the food was very good.

Good family room
Posted 8 Mar 2020 on HotelsNice stay for one night. Some of the information about ski resorts was quite wrong. We were told it was 20 minutes to Val Thorens when it was really 58 minutes according to Google Maps.
Great price and the room was very nice and spacious.

Indeed, Val Thorens is 1 hour away, however it is Valmorel which is 20 minutes away.

Serviceable hotel, unpleasant service.
Posted 10 Nov 2019 on HotelsJust stopped for the night on my way to ski. Night receptionist was rather unpleasant and unhelpful (I had to switch rooms twice due to the issues to follow and he was visibly annoyed by my requests). Climate control wouldn’t work in any of the rooms and they were exceptionally hot. One room had a very loud motor sound. Ended up back in the original room - an hour later - with the windows open, which I don’t mind except that they opened in so there was no way to close a curtain and as I was on a low floor anyone could see inside.
All that being said, the hotel was clean, serviceable, and inexpensive. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast buffet was nice. Had the service been better I would have been fine with the minor annoyances of the AC and noise level. As it stands, I think I’d try another nearby hotel.

A nice place to stop over

Mountain stopover
Posted 27 Jan 2018 on HotelsHad a quick stayover en route to the mountains - this was an ideal pit stop. We didn’t use the spa but the facilities look certainly to be a draw of you have time

Stop off en route to ski resort
