Not so clean and had some flies and insects in bedrooms

My family loved our stay here. It was quiet and comfortable. The apartment was spacious and had 2 bathrooms and 2 nicely decorated bedrooms. Also provided was a bottle of still water and a bottle of carbonated water. The ceilings are a bit low so might be a problem if you are tall. There is also a small washing machine in the apartment with a drying rack which was very helpful. I didn't feel comfortable emailing a photo of my credit card so they sent me a link for online payment. The openow app for door entry was easy to use. The location is only a few minutes walk from between Redentore and Palanca vaporetto stations, and vaporetto #4.1/4.2 and #2 run every 12 minutes or so. You can't really get to the main city any other way so definitely get a pass. Check the tide forecast, we arrived at high tide and sidewalks were flooded. There is a small grocery store just a few steps away, a bakery, and several very good restaurants.

We were very happy to be on the island of Giudecca. It is much quieter than "crazy" Venice but still had nice places to eat. Once we figured out the vaporettos it was easy to get over to the main island. LOVED our view of the canal!

It’s a scam; stay away
Posted 3 Aug 2023 on HotelsNot clean on arrival; then bathroom flooded which wasn’t sorted for 2 days. Multiple emails exchanged; the chap at the other end was beyond rude.
Information at time of booking was misleading. It’s not a luxury apartment.
Poor location; just stay elsewhere.
Not worth complaining to hotels.com as the customer means nothing to them; they are just a broker.

Dear Dr. Doger,Thank you for having stayed with us and for taking the time to leave your feedback.We always appreciate the guests' comments because it gives us the possibility to improve and deliver high level services to the people who decide to stay with us, but these have to corrispond to reality.There was indeed some dust on the floor in one of the rooms at your arrival; we immediately apologized and sent the maid to clean it up. As a compensation we offered the cleaning of your apartment during the stay, a service which is not included (and you refused it).When you reported the shower leak a member of our maintenance team came to the apartment to fix it, but you didn't allow him to enter. Poor location? The apartments are located on Giudecca island and the guests staying there are well aware of the position. Why make the reservation and then complain about the location? It is a clear and transparent information.We are not happy to respond this way, but we can't tolerate misleading information.In any case we take note of the mentioned points and we'll try to be more specific and clear in providing the information to avoid any kind of misunderstanding.Best regards
