It is a small boutique hotel with top class amenities. The breakfast is excellent and so is dinner. We tried both restaurants, the food was great and prices were reasonable as compared to other restaurants in downtown. The best part was the customer service, it was Royal treatment all the way. Everyone in the hotel knows you by your name and room number to make you feel special. Modern amenities, pool area and hot springs were very enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Nice resort! The spa was awesome - great massage, and cool spa amenities which you could use the day of your service.
The food was good and drinks were good!
Staff was very friendly and hospitable.
Rooms were cozy and views from the room were awesome! Great location to do anything in the area.

We are beyond happy with this resort. Our room was fantastic with a gorgeous view of the volcano. The staff was incredible! We never felt unwelcomed. Hands down the best vacation EVER! Can't wait to go back.

Views from the balcony of our 4th floor room where breath taking! When we were not enjoying the many pools, we spent a lot of time reading and enjoying drinks with views of Arenal volcano. At arrival we were greeted by Fabian who offered us a welcome beverage as well as a cool towel to refresh ourselves as he explained the hotel and property. Great customer service continued with Sebastian who helped us with our luggage and informed us of all the features in the room. The room has a slot near the door so when you come in the room and insert your key card all the lights and air-conditioning activate. When you leave, they automatically turn off for you to quickly and conveniently help conserve energy. The balcony has chairs and a table along with a huge floor to ceiling sliding glass door that also has a screen door. Reservations at the Lava Restaurant will take you to the 5th floor where you can enjoy great food and service in an intimate setting along with a fantastic view of Arenal. The Emperador is on the main floor and hosts an outstanding breakfast buffet with some daily changes and at night high-class dinner. Breakfast included a large variety of options from omelets made to order, build your own yogurt parfait, fruits, eggs, cheese and meats. Dinner here is incredible! I had cream of corn soup for the app, the special blackened seabass stole the show for dinner and chocolate temptation desert. 5-star experience all around.
