What a wonderful hotel! The man at reception was very kind and welcoming. The room was well appointed. The breakfast was AMAZING. A wonderful experience. This hotel is convenient for the train station and the bamboo garden.

Posted 19 Dec 2019 on HotelsComfortable small hotel that proves excellent access to Arashiyama, and there are two subway stations not far away. Ask for a room away from the street. The kind and thorough staff were a delight, and responded quickly when I needed something. The breakfast was excellent, with very fine coffee.

Good location if you want to visit Arashiyama area but to get out of other major attractions
Overpriced cappuccino and breakfast
Quite ans relaxed

The room was excellent. It’s super clean with a modern minimalistic feel. The hotel lobby is a cozy cafe that you can chill out all day on the nice sofa. Will certainly come back again if I’m visiting this beautiful Arashiyama area.

This is one of the best hotels in Arashiyama. I always have a great experience here. They are continually finding ways to make your stay more enjoyable. I highly recommend the Yado
