This is the best hotel that I experienced in Japan. Very nicely maintained. The staff are very professional and friendly. There is a beautiful garden outside of the property. The breakfast buffet is also very good. Enjoyed our stay.

Amazing! Highly recommended in Kyoto

Staff were very friendly, understood English pretty well. The room was very spacious and bath was big and nice. Location was pretty good, about 10 minute walk to Kyoto station and in walkable distance to all sorts of temples and main areas like Kawaramachi.

The happy hour was quite nice actually, they have a really good selection (I really liked the Plum Wine), you can take a few bath salts per day which is very nice of them, the room was very clean + lots of amenities were provided in the bathroom. Great experience!!

Nothing bad to say about this hotel. The staff is super helpful, the room was clean, the location is great for public transportation and there is a convenient happy hour to provide a bit of a boost after a long day to get you back on track for dinner!

The staff at IL Verde is excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Will alway greet you when you arrive and leave. Excellent little hotel within walking distance to Kyoto station where you can find great food.
