Omg! This was the worst LaQuinta I have ever stayed in. I reserved 2 rooms with 2 queens for 3 nights. When I checked in, the rooms were on the 2nd floor and the clerk advised us that the elevator was out of order. Reading the reviews it has been a problem for a while. We requested the 1st floor. The clerk let us know that she had only one room with a king bed on the 1st floor. We took it. That was a big mistake. We could hear everything as far as the front desk. We had to reset our card keys for both rooms every morning as they didn’t work and no we didn’t have them close to our phone as we were asked every time they had to reset. The west side doors of the hotel did not lock. The second day a white male clerk was dosing off when I walked up to the counter. The third day my family and I walked in the hotel and the same white male clerk was sitting on sofa watching tv with the volume full blast and seemed to be watching a rated R movie. We could hear cursing with F word. Does management ever check the staff from the camera ? A couple of minutes later, we could hear him laughing ( I guess enjoying the movie) from our room. We could hear him coughing yes loud enough to hear him from our room (106). We panicked because we figured he was ill. We packed our things and left we didn’t stay our last night. This hotel seriously needs maintenance and new staff.
