Spa hotel with no spa

We were disappointed that a five star spa hotel didn’t have a working spa. The staff just shrugged their shoulders and said “sorry it’s closed due to low occupancy”. When people pay that kind of money then the promised services should be available. Or we should have been told in advance. The bed pillows were also uncomfortable with no alternatives and duvet cover wasn’t sealed so the duvet kept coming out. Breakfast was very limited for a hotel of this stature. Salmon was bright purple infused with beetroot but no mention of beetroot on the menu.
