B&B that has it all
Posted 20 Feb 2019 on HotelsWe are a couple from the U.S. just touring the Coromandel and this was a fantastic place. Looking back, it’s a great hub for a longer stay with all the options within a half hour depending on the direction you go. There isn’t a whole lot going on in this town but there are great beaches everywhere. This b&b is fantastic and the host, Carol, is a true gem. I can’t even begin to describe the kindness and generosity. We arrived in New Zealand and our luggage did not - Carol actually helped my wife by letting her borrrow some clothing! The location of the b&b is great - pathway takes you to the road and the beach is right there. Breakfast and the room itself were both excellent as well. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great hostess by the beach

Great first place on our trip.
Posted 29 Jan 2019 on HotelsCarol was very welcoming and the room had everything we needed and was large and spacious. Great quiet beach right across the road and a nice pizza place a few minutes walk away which you can walk down the beach to. We only stayed one night so didn’t get chance to really ecplore the area.

Outstanding hostess and an unbelievable breakfast.
Posted 26 Feb 2018Quiet. Clean. Easy to find, just off the main road. Walk to the beach and a great restaurant. Big breakfast including eggs to order, bacon, toast, many varieties of homemade jam, great coffee, and even a homegrown tomato! Hope to come back some day.

Great location and lovely room
Posted 17 Feb 2018My husband and I stayed here for one night and really enjoyed it. You can walk to the beach and into town for food, plus the location is beautiful. Breakfast was delicious! The room itself is comfortable and clean and well appointed. No air conditioning though. We would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a quiet place to relax and enjoy the beach.
