It is almost a scam!

The place is not an establishment but some people are renting some condos which the management of this residency putting pictures everywhere that booking these apartments through websites, such as hotels.com are not allowed!!! So what we did or these people are doing is not approved by the management, what kind of shady business is this, hotels.com is charging us full fee right up front for this, it is really unacceptable, it was simply a half fraud! Yes we got the place, getting our keys by unlocking some mailboxes, nobody even asked us who we were, found the apartment ourselves, there was no water, no internet and a huge mould in the bathroom, never seen an elevator so dirty and with horrible sounds when moving, pool water seemed really unclear, we really had a nightmare, checked out after a couple hours and booked a proper hotel which was even cheaper! Hands off really, what we went through was absolutely not acceptable and I expect from hotels.com first to not advertise these anymore and a full refund!!!

First of all, ‘scam’ is a severe accusation against us. Undoubtedly, the management has put on the notice but that was during last year, the issue has been resolved which explains why you were still able to check in that day. Please do not put such title or accusation against us which may misguide the others, thinking that we are scammers. Secondly, what do you mean by ‘found the apartment yourselves’? Pretty amusing as I was the one that sent the detailed instructions for you guys to do self check in. Again, mind your own words, this is so sick of you to put up such nonsense accusation. Thirdly, the Internet wasn’t working that day because the modem went faulty, which I actually came over to try to resolve the problem for you when I received your message. I have also provided you another internet source which you eventually got to access to the internet, didn’t you? Please write the full story instead of revealing half way that put our reputation at a negative side. Unacceptable! Fourthly, as for the mould at the ceiling of the bathroom, I have explained that it was due to the water leaked from upstairs, which can’t be controlled by us other than make our complaints to the owner of the unit above. I’ve also apologised to you at the first place. Fifthly, do not say that our accommodation fees are offered at high pricing. Your reservation made was during 16th feb, which the coronavirus outbreak wasn’t as serious as of March. As for the time being during your stay, most of the hotels in Kota Kinabalu are undoubtedly offering a low price of staying due to the fall off in the tourism industry. Please make your judgement right before making such assumption. Pretty unfair and stupid I would say. Obviously if our unit price wasn’t cheaper at the first place as compared to the other accommodation as your first booked, which I believe you won’t even go with the decision to book our place. Once again, of all the points you listed out here, other than ridiculous, no other words I could use to justify with all due respect. If it’s not acceptable at the first place, you can discuss with me face to face as I was actually there in person to solve the problems. However, you did not, but gave me a rude attitude when I was there. I thought to let it be as I knew we really didn’t do our best at the first place due to several uncontrolled circumstances. Never did I actually think you will put on such things when you didn’t even give us the opportunity to solve it for you or to talk to us regarding the problem. I left with no words to say but to be honest you are really rude, impolite, and disrespect to make all these points against us. Almost a scammer? Ridiculous and childish for making such conclusion at your own before getting our reassurance. Nonsense!

Pleasant clean apartment

Lovely apartment pretty central to most things. Very clean and tidy bonus of a washing machine and dryer! Very happy with our stay there 😀

The apartment is spacious and located in the centre of Kota Kinabalu. Pool is great but it’s a bit disappointing that the gym is not accessible by the guests

Awesome , location, cleanliness

A perfect stay i can say . The kids love the unit , huge space with a kichenette and a laundry. I personally love the swimming pool with a awesome view of the ocean. If you are lucky you can view mount kinabalu from one of the room.Book this unit without any hesitation and definately will book again if i happen travel to kk again

수영장 위치는 워터프론트라 좋은데 물이 정화되는 시스템이 없어 물이 더러움 투룸이었는데 더블베드 침구가 더러웠음 비치타월도 더 달라했더니 인당 1개씩이고 추가로 제공 안하고 세탁기에 돌려쓰라고 함ㅋㅋ 걍 호텔 가셈
