Wouldn’t stay here again
Posted 20 Oct 2022 on HotelsThe hotel was centrally located and the staff accommodating to their ability and grasp of the English language. We don’t know Turkish, so communication was not as easy as it could have been. The hotel smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, so that was off-putting. Hallways were dim. Room was spacious and big window provided good ventilation. Hotel was located on a noisy street across from a Kebap restaurant, so smell drifted in; air conditioner was broken, room was comfortable, but needed updating and cleaning. I wouldn’t stay there again even though I enjoyed the layout of the room with most of a wall dividing the bed area from the window so there was good privacy. Breakfast was good the first day, though cold. Second day not much food; no attention to need for replenishment nor clearing tables. Maybe they were short staffed? Redeeming quality was walk ability as hotel was close to everything we wanted or needed.
