Great stay in difficult times

We wanted to stay fairly close to Calais and avoid the lorry queues so found this hotel. It was wonderful! They upgraded us as the hotel wasn’t full (due to Covid) and had organised an excellent evening meal service in the room, the table was already nicely set up and laid when we arrived. The food was home made and very tasty. Breakfast was also delicious - brought to the room. We could see that in nice weather, the location is wonderful, just a short walk to the dunes and the sea. My husband loved the free onsite parking and the girl on reception was very helpful and cheerful

In our opinion it was a little run down. The tile floors were very noisy, I woke up at 02:00 from noise of chairs being moved around - assume the bar/restaurant was somewhere below us.

Lots of hotel for your money

Hotel was large, decor was a little dated but absolutely spotless. Free parking onsite and about 10 minutes off the beaten track we had no problems accessing from the motorway. Reception were helpful but spoke only French/Flemish but we managed to check in without any problems. The family room was huge, much larger than we expected, with a typically Flemish double basined bathroom, great for getting a family ready. We had a great view over the grounds. Breakfast was continental buffet, with a decent selection of options. We used the pool which was small but big enough to some laps. Paid £120 for 2 family rooms and was really pleased how lovely it turned out.
