We were 17 adults. I booked 7 rooms 4 months ago . I stayed ooty sterling 2 nights ( all 17 ) Kodikkanal sterling had terrible experience. First they don’t have big vehicles access to resort. Second they accommodate 7 rooms , but they charge for 2 adults 3790 for even sleeping in the floor. For 3 days trip they charge me over $ 3000.00 . Very bad

Room maintenance needs to be looked into. The tiles had water marks all over. The soap dispenser was coming out. The sofa was too soft to sit onto. The blankets were not properly maintained. Outside the rooms the property was good but the room condition wasn't good

Great rooms and good walking areas. Childrens play area is good and liked the cycles on rent feature.

Misleading name with terrible service.

It is not by the lake. You can only barely see the lake from one part of the hotel, and that tool few hundred meters away. Terrible service. No Wi-Fi except lobby. And to top it all they give weird juvenille excuses as if the guests are morons. It is not the individual servers that were bad, the management sucks. Big time.

Okay except for the breakfast

Breakfast is very poor taste wise if you are used to tasty food. The restaurant cutlery cleanliness is questionable as forks and knives which fall on to the floor are replaced on the table with out being cleaned by the staff with out even blinking an eye

Good resort

Pros: Very hospitable staff. Cleanliness.
Cons: Keep a facility for drop and pick from near the city or boat house.
Very good holiday and stay. Well maintained resort. Nice north indian food.

Gud hotel but not maintained properly...

Wifi not working in the room and not in the lobby. Poor quality of bed and pillows . Paints gone from walls . Urgently required maintanance..food was gud and restaurant staff was very polite and helpful..
