Not A good stay - Poor Restaurant service

Pros: View was good but food poor and approachability was difficult to the room
Cons: Restaurant service must be improved
We went to the hotel as a family trip on 01.06.2018 to 03.06.2018 We were a group of 10 Adults and 4 Children Hotel was 3.6 Km Very Steep Narrow Hill road If u go by Tempo traveller you will not be able to reach your Room Directly You have to stop near the reception from there you have to walk approx 1 kilometer 45 Degree very steep hill road to reach your room If Old age people of people or people who are not able to walk long distance please do not opt this resort Service in the Restaurant was very very poor Day 1: we called the reception when we started from Dindigul for providing Lunch on 01.06.2018. They said that they will provide Meals. once again i called the reception once we reached Kodaikanal Town to reconfirm the Lunch as there where no hotels nearby. I called them 3 times. they said they will provide us meals. But when we reached the Jem Valley Resort there was no food. For 10 Adults they provided 6 Bowls of Plain Rice and 3 Bowls of Sambar and 3 Bowls of Potato. After waiting for 1 hour in the restaurant they said there was no food and i will take another half an hour... so we walked away from the restaurant and decided not to eat. We where a group of 14 members (6 Senior citizens , 4 Adults and 4 Kids of age 3,4.7) Day 1 was horrible without proper lunch Day 2: After our sight seeing the resort did not provide a cab service from the Hotel reception to the room as we were a group of 14 members (6 Senior citizens , 4 Adults and 4 Kids of age 3,4.7)
