I spent my last night in India at the Malabar House in Fort Kochi and it was quite the treat. I was upgraded to the Garden suite and the room was stunning from the fixtures to the artwork. The staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The food was fantastic! The hotel is ideally located just a block or two inland from the harbor and the fishing nets. Gorgeous property.

Lovely room, everything we needed very clean and comfortable bed. The staff were excellent very efficient and friendly.

Lovely homely armosphere in quiet part of town. Excellent helpful staff. Superb sea food. Only disappointment was the pool which is very small; but the warm hospitality more than compensates!

Good luxury option in central Fort Cochin

The best hotel in India (out of 7)
Posted 26 Dec 2017I can't think of a single bad thing I could say about this hotel. They got everything right, down to the last detail. The staff are friendly and seem to genuinely care about their guests and are obviously proud of their hotel. Allen on reception in particular was a star.
