A hidden gem.
Posted 19 Mar 2024 on HotelsWe had a wonderful stay. The owner and staff were so welcoming and friendly. The whole ambiance of the property was comfortable, relaxing and secure, and the view over the Knysna river and lagoon from the patio was fantastic. The breakfast was very good quality, and in fact our whole stay was incredibly good value. We only stayed one night as we were moving on to an Airbnb previously booked, however wished we had found this sooner as we would have loved to have stayed longer, it was so good.

This was an amazing stay at a absolutely wonderful property with a breathtaking view. The staff was actually amazing and extremely helpful. Breakfast was to die for.

A wonderful stay with outstanding views towards Knysna. No restaurant on site but two good ones only five minutes away.

The location and the views are spectacular. Very nice breakfast, but coffee not nice.
Very friendly host. We could not get enough of the spectacular view. However this is not a 5 Star at all. Urgent update and upgrade in rooms required.
Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Stunning views in an Italian-style villa
Posted 10 Jan 2020 on HotelsWe loved our stay at Villa Castollini. The guesthouse is located on top of a hill with amazing views of Knysna lagoon. We especially liked the honesty bar, the pool and the full English breakfast. Highly recommended!
