We stayed at Abalone Lodge for 2 nights in a log cabin. It exceeded our expectations and was a great experience. Excellent value & service.

Amazing Place to Stay
Posted 16 Jan 2023 on HotelsAbalone Lodge was a fab place to stay. We stayed in a double story log cabin wish was amazing. Downstairs it had an open plan kitchen and lounge, shower room and a huge picture window. Upstairs it had a big bedroom with a super comfortable king size bed, a bathroom with a spa corner bath and a separate toilet. The bedroom had a balcony with an Amazing view. We sat there every morning having our tea and evening sipping wine.
You have your own parking space too which was great. James at reception was a great help with local knowledge and told us everything you needed to know about the local area. You are a little way out of town so a car is good to have. The Cabin has everything you’d need for a perfect stay.
Would recommend this place to everyone.

Perfect for a short stay. Location is only less than perfect negative. I would easily recommend this place.

This is a really good looking complex with quality rooms. We felt safe in the gated compound. We used this as the base to go walking in the Knysna Nature Reserve
