We liked the friendly staff and our room. WiFi to be aded next year. We were lucky with parking as we parked outside but this is not guaranteed though there is a large public car park fairly closeby

The George is an amazing place to stay, the rooms are situated to the rear of the property in the converted stable block, where you will find peace and quiet away from the pub itself and the High Street of the town, making for a peaceful nights sleep. Location is perfect for exploring the surrounding hills on foot too.
In addition Tom and his wife went above and beyond to make our stay perfect, due to our dietary requirements (being dairy intolerant) they made sure we had suitable alternatives. Wonderful friendly hosts and highly recommend, will most definitely visit again!

Parking in the town of Knighton is horrendous. It is possible to park outside the premises from 1800-0900. The local car park is only for 2 hours max. There is all day parking within a 10 minute walk.

You are correct about the parking problem. We do have very limited parking at the back of the pub outside of the rooms and I hope that when you come and stay again you will find this better.
