We found the staff very helpful, lovely food and the room was so comfortable, We would recommend to anyone who wants a great base to look at the Towns and countryside.

We arrived to a warm welcome and quickly shown to our room. Tastefully decorated, warm and comfortable with ample towels and decent sized tea cups. We had an evening meal that was well portioned, reasonably priced, wonderfully cooked and served with a smile and breakfast in the morning was an equal delight. Having found this jewel we are planning another but longer visit.

Posted 18 Oct 2023 on HotelsA satisfactory inn for one night. Room was clean and comfortable enough. You had to climb steps to get there and the steps were outside. I’m afraid there wasn’t the warmth that we felt from other places especially from the owner. The breakfast was average at best. Old fruit. Dinner was good.

Quiet, neat and comfortable accommodation with relaxed booking in process. Friendly, helpful staff with great meals. The mattress on the double bed needs to be replaced with a slightly firmer one and shower head holder was broken, which requires replacing. Anyone requiring accommodation in that area, I would definitely recommend it.

Very friendly staff, excellent dinner and breakfast, cute pub, pretty setting, nice room couldn’t be faulted for, in my case, an overnight business stay and would definitely stay again.

Fantastic Inn. Immaculately kept, great service and fabulous food (husband said it's the best pie he's ever had). The pub is stunning, a gem.
