We had a wonderful time and were so excited when we were upgraded to a renovated suite! The property is in such a perfect location and we will definitely return!

Renovated units are very nice, Some have great views. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

The second day we had to move to another condo. Barrier Island told us it was how Expedia sent the reservation but we learned from employees that it was how Barrier Island managed the units. 4 families had to move between units I will not be staying there again.

We enjoyed our stay. My only criticism would be that we received an email 3 days before we checked in that stated there is limited bedding and to bring our own. Upon callling the front desk, we learned that there are sheets, pillows and a light blanket. The email is for those that want a comforter or multiple heavy blankets. As we were flying in to NC, we obviously didn’t bring bedding with us. Just be assured, all the linens are provided. Only beach towels are not provided but those are easily purchased if forgotten. The email was a little confusing. Enjoy the area!!

Good place in Duck NC
Posted 19 Jun 2023 on HotelsIndoor pools were closed “indefinitely” for construction but according to the email I was sent by the resort shortly before my stay , they were supposed to be done by fall 2022. My stay was in June 2023. Other than that, the room was nice and the outdoor pools and recreation was good. No complaints other than the indoor pools being closed which had pictures online so it was misleading.

Place was clean but dated. Lots of steps. If you dont like steps this isn’t the place for you. Nice ocean access. Property outside needs to be cleaned up a bit. Overall would stay again.
