There were ring marks left on the coffee table by a previously used cup. I had to clean the table.

Walkable to Kokura Station Self-check in, so make sure you follow instructions sent to pre-register your information and make that process easier

Rakuten Stay Kokura was clean, modern, and efficient. It was a very comfortable stay, and very convenient for access to the JR station and shopping and dining in the nearby shotengai. Would use a Rakuten Stay again.

Although you have to check in via a tablet, it was quite easy after trying a couple times. Loved the hotel room, very roomy compared to a business hotel. Easy to get around to find eateries, etc. Had a nice time!

complicated check in, the check in code provided was not correct. called service centre couple of times for check in

The room was large and new looking. Very clean as well as a big bathroom. Well equipped with comfortable bed. Very happy with location close to main train station with lots of stores. Easy self check-in. I couldn't be happier except for the terrible Wi-Fi. Had to struggle with that for the 3 days I was there. If it wasn't for the Wi-Fi, everything would've been perfect.
