The only thing we were unhappy about was the fact that one day we had two sausages and two rashers with our breakfast,and only one sausage and one rasher the next morning!Most of the staff were lovely

Disappointed by room and food.
Posted 10 Oct 2023 on HotelsRoom small as was the bathroom. You can switch on the bathroom light whilst lying on the bed. Sunday lunch, unfortunately lamb was tooooo over cooked, not pink at all. Disappointing experience.

Hi, We are a traditional country pub and therefor the size of our rooms are on the smaller side however we never claim to have big rooms! We never serve pink lamb, it’s slow roasted. Kind regards

Great pub with comfortable rooms and food
Posted 30 Sep 2023 on HotelsOur 3rd time here probably says it all. Great pub evening meal, lovely breakfast. The bedroom was small but functional, comfortable and quiet. Will hooefully visit again on our way further north.
