Would not recommend
Posted 11 Jan 2024 on HotelsHotel located about a 20 minute walk from Killarney town centre. Rooms are nice but very warm with no way to cool them down except open a restricted window.
Wi-Fi in the hotel is poor and has connection issues and the “smart” tvs have no option to connect an internet source which means the smart aspect of the tv is pointless and you are left to the 15 or so saorview channels. We asked the duty manager to help us sort out this problem and he didn’t know how to explain the fact the smart tv had no available network settings and setting up a connection was impossible despite mentioning he faced this issue with several other guests during their respective stays.
I would avoid this hotel if I returned to Killarney as overall the experience was not a pleasant one.

The Heights Hotel was a very comfortable stay. Staff was very kind, room was very comfortable and the breakfast was great! We did a one night stay before we got on the Ring of Kerry.
Great location if you have a car - but if you don't you've got a 20-30 minute walk to the restaurants in Killarney.
