My wife and I love this place but if you book a room here go ahead and get ocean front it will be totally worth it! This place literally sits on the beach and the manager that works here is really nice and she'll do whatever she can to help make the perfect stay.

We had to find a place to stay for one night on our way from PA to Ocracoke. We were traveling with 2 adults and 3 teenagers. The family room was perfect for this. We got in late and left very early, so we didn't use the hotel amenities, but the hotel worked well for our purposes and was clean and conveniently located. There is even a kiosk in the lobby if you need to check in late and there isn't a person actually in the office or need help or anything early in the morning. It looks like a nice location as well for a longer stay.

Just an over night stay but a good one. Check in was fast and easy. The attendant was very nice and helpful. Have been fascinated with the place for over 25 years . So happy someone opened it back up.

Às expected for a motor lodge only this one is better then any other. Beach access was easily accessible. Rooms were large, clean and beds were comfortable.
I would stay here again.

Very nice place for a motel and right on the beach. Even if you are stuck in a room with courtyard view, all you have to do is walk out of your room and through a breeze way and you are literally right in front of the ocean.

Thanks for your comment. It is good to let guests know we do have different room types and rates. If you really want or need oceanfront, be sure the room description states "oceanfront" or "oceanview", our courtside and/or poolside rooms are not on the beach but as this guest said, "walk out of your room and through a breezeway and you are literally right in front of the ocean". Reasonable price for an ocean view room. The room was very clean and nice. Check in was quick and easy. Will definitely be staying here again?
